MICHIGAN STATE UNIFORM REDESIGN

For this project I wanted to elevate the on field presence of my Alma Mater, Michigan State University. Recent hires Mel Tucker and Alan Haller have championship aspirations for the football program and a uniform upgrade felt fitting given the commitment of resources. I wanted to stay true to Michigan State uniforms from the past, while also bringing in a heavier dosage of greek patterns and stylizations. The Greek key pattern has been featured sparingly on Michigan State football and basketball uniforms for the past decade or so, but I wanted to bring other prominent greek patterns to the forefront in both the alternate and primary uniforms.

Below are a collection of MSU uniforms from the 80’s to present day. These images, along with greek artifacts, which served as inspiration.
